I finished a toothfairy pillow. He asked for a butterfly, but made me reverse the colours.

:applesauce: :applesauce: How wonderful! Does having such a delightful pillow increase the value of the tooth inside that pocket? I don't have any idea how much a tooth goes for these days :tizzy:

Absolutely love it, especially the wee pocket. Well Done Roland. I too would be interested to know how much a tooth costs these days. It's been about 50 yrs since I last paid up and I think it was around 2 shillings(NZ currency)

When he was here he lost a tooth. I decided I should check with his mom. She said a toonie. ($2).

I assume in other homes it may be more, but my daughter in law isn’t big on spoiling her kids,

What a lovely project :applesauce: (Make sure the tooth fairy doesn't go off with it!)

I still have the first three I made, before I started cross stitch. Apparently I throw away nothing,

That's splendid! What a great idea....I used to just pop my baby teeth under the pillow and my grand children do the same!

What a super project and so useful :applesauce:

I wish I'd thought of making something like this instead of fumbling around under the pillow trying to find little teeth, and that was when I remembered, I reckon I had a 50% success rate with that and was always telling the kids she was very busy so I would phone her and then suddenly the money would appear under the pillow, my daughter still hasn't forgiven the tooth fairy for leaving 37 pence in place of her tooth, she was a bit rubbish when she came to our house

His little sister said she is never losing any of her teeth EVER. But she wanted a toothfairy pillow, and she wanted a cat on it.

Well Done Roland and beautifully stitched. Of course Hannah had to have the same as Aidan bless them. :)
