Present for my Mother - Seaview out of the window

Post by Mummy_of_Tia »

I am starting a little project which I hope to finish in less than two month, because I want to take it to Italy with me when I go to see my family and I want to give it to my Mother!

I’ve started this topic to share the progress with you.

Image

It’s a kit I bought from the internet but I don’t like the fabric it came with, so im only using the threads and the chart from the kit.

Here is the threads

Image

I bought a cream colour Aida fabric to stitch this one, but it was supposed to arrive today and it didn’t! I’m a bit annoyed. Hopefully tomorrow!

It is a window with curtains and flowers and you can see the beach and the sea outside, with the boats, it’s very pretty.

That is very pretty and refreshing looking out the window at the sea and boats on it. I hope your fabric arrives tomorrow. :)

Yesterday I was out all day and when I arrived home I found my Aida fabric waiting for me in the post box!
I was tired but I didn’t care, I got started straight away!

Image

It’s a beautiful warm colour and I think it is suited for the beach design. Not that you can really see it in the picture though.

So I got started from the top left corner last night, here is a close up of what I’ve done
Image

And here what I’ve done this morning
Image

I can’t believe I got up at quarter to 7 on a Sunday morning just because I wanted to do this!

So I’ve officially started on my mum’s present!
