I have picked this up again!

I ended up not going to Italy so I put this away because I was upset!
But now I’ve picked it up again and I’ll have it ready for when I can go!

I have made this progress so far.

The perspective looks so good! I had to walk away from the computer for something when I was looking at your project. With the distance, the open window looked real. It is a really beautiful design. Lovely update too!

Hello everyone,
It’s been almost a year since my last update!
I moved to Scotland and started a new job so I was busy!!
My mother came to visit me in my new house and she could see the work in progress (and to think I wanted to finish it in two months when I started... it’s been two years!!)
But now I’m settled in the new house and in the new job, so I’ve started again!
I should post an update very soon!

Lovely to hear from you :D
So glad that you are now settled in your new home and also for finding a new job. Not an easy thing to do nowadays.
I bet your Mum is looking forward to her present. It is a gorgeous picture, so relaxing to look at.
Happy stitching and welcome back.

Welcome to Scotland!! And tomorrow is St Andrews Day, of course. :whoop: I hope (despite current foul weather) you've settled in well and are very happy here.

And the update is glorious! Hope you'll have time now to carry on with it a bit. :wip:

Where in Scotland do you live? I am on the Isle of Benbecula! And I’ve been learning Gaelic these past months, it is a lot of fun to learn this language!!

I love this design  As already said it doesn't matter how long it takes as long as it's enjoyable. ....which is good as I am well known for taking an absolute age to get things finished

Benbecula ? Wow 8) and well done in learning Gaelic :whoop: :applesauce: :applesauce:
