Thought it was about time I did an update! I've been so ridiculously busy but finally I had time to stitch!

I've done a bit on Mr Wolf; I'm hoping and praying to have him finished by Christmas this year. I think once my exams are over and I have the whole summer I should be able to get it done!
Image

I also found this old cross stitch I started I think 7 years ago! Sadly it has a bunch of stains on the fabric, as you can see in the photo, but I've convinced myself it adds a bit of character and makes it look older so maybe it's a good thing? I haven't done the backstitching on this yet (I've been circulating projects!) but I'm quite proud of how it's come out! I don't have the actual book (Or magazine? I could have sworn it was from a book but the photocopy I have is from Cross Stitch Gold which I believe is a magazine? Who knows!) so I don't know what colours should be going where so I've been guessing and just going by what looks good to me lol.
Image

And last but not least, my Rainbow Fish! I got him as the free gift in Cross Stitch Crazy (Saw the ad in the back of last month's mag and just had to have him! I remember Rainbow fish from my childhood!) so I've spent the last few days stitching him up!

Great to see you posting again Dot and good luck with the exams.

Love Mr Wolf, he is coming along nicely now and it will be great to see his next update. The sampler is great and the marks look as though they belong there too. I am guessing there are a lot of little pictures yet to go around the outside of this design.

Love that Butterly Fish, he is absolutely gorgeous.
A fabulous update on all 3 of your works :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

:applesauce: :applesauce: Life does have a way with interfering with stitching (like school and exams! and work and ...). I'm glad you've been able to get some stitching done and love the updates on your projects. The wolf is coming along very well and the sampler and the rainbow fish look good!

Thank you all for your kind words! Ajay, I'm pretty sure you still get the chart inside the magazine, so you could still give it a go if you feel like it :D
The rainbow fish kit came with a card to pop him in, I ended up cutting the window a bit bigger (I tried my best but it came out a bit iffy... oh well !) but he's done!

I love Rainbow fish and the card finishes it off beautifully.
The Home Sweet Home Sampler from Cross Stitch Gold magazine is going to be an heirloom, well done in " re-designing" it .
Looking forward to the next update of the Wolf.
Lovely works! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

He looks right at home in his sea card and I am sure the recipient will love it - if you can bear to part with it that is. :)

I'm officially done with college! Took my last A level exam (Sociology paper 3: Crime and Deviance!), so now I am free to cross stitch guilt-free!
I am determined to get this wolf finished before the summer is out! I'm also hoping to start (and finish!) the Mermaid I wanted to do back in November I think?? I'm going to get a lot of stitching done before I head to uni and have more work to do!

So here is my update on the wolf, I've done another row:
