Thank you all. Internet not been good recently during the recent windy weather so got on with this & did a bit more reading as well!

Nicola, you can see I never bothered to get crease out of Aida - I was too keen to start this design :lol:

Thank you very much for the lovely comments Serinde :D I am very near the end of the bottom left so will post update when that is completed> I can then go top right & do more leaves! That section will finish its head too so not all greens :)

Thank you all for your lovely compliments :D Have since done part of his head, need to finish eye & beak this evening.

I really do love this because of the colours. Directly I saw the chart I thought the yellow iris complimented the blues & apricots of the kingfisher. When I go bottom left the marsh marigolds add a slightly darker yellow along with the very dark green leaves they have. You can just see the start of the leaves ln this pic. To the right of those, in the corner, will be white flowers. Not sure what they are. I keep thinking of wood anemones ( wind flowers) but I don't think they are.
