Post by kingfisher68(2) »

Hope you can see this Wendy. Have put on Adblock Plus someone told me about so maybe that is causing the problem

Re did link pic shows on here but if no one can see it then I will take Adblock Plus off. It does stop the other adverts but no good if I am the only one who can see pic.

Thanks Vanessa. I thought the flowers added another touch of colour. Glad you could see pic as Wendy could not & I went back & changed option I chose.

I can see the picture just fine and it is going to be a great project. I love Kingfishers too. We have one that hangs around the creek behind the house and I love to watch him dive. Occasionally another shows up and they have a wonderful chase as to who the creek belongs to. Very loud and fast. I've always assumed the first one wins, but I can't tell for sure. Looking forward to watching this one develop!

Thank you. Have done half the gridding, got to go the other longer way now.

Did any of you spot the mistake on the chart picture? The dragonflies wings have been reversed. Well I think they have as I am sure longer wings are in the front by the head & smaller wings behind them. This has smaller wings by the head so I will swap them round.

Am looking forward to stitching this one :D :D Hope Sally's frogs don't come my way too often while I'm stitching this or I'll send them packing!!

Really looking forward to seeing this one develop Izzi! And yes you're right about the damselfly's wings front wings should be slightly bigger than bottom wings. Nothing wrong with changing things about, in fact I've tweaked the chart I'm doing for 'Curious Hen' as one of the toes looked like it should be slightly longer than it was. Just pencilled in a couple of more symbols for the toe on the chart  xxx

Thank you both. There are more lovely shades of each to come :)

Tried to get photo a bit larger, same size as the first one, but didn't manage it. Think the top one of the complete project must have been by luck than judgment ! :)

Where I am now. As there are more leaves to stitch on the right I am going to do bottom left next then go to upper right. The designer has a very good eye for colour.
