Thank You all for your lovely words and encouragement. I have started a little Christmas one but youngest son came for a visit so that was the end of the stitching session for the day. A real plus to catch up with all his news though and a wet day today means I can settle inside with crochet and stitching.

I know it is not stitching as such although the little ornament for Brooklyn was stitched before my op. I just put it together since then
The card was also made at the time of the putting together. The other card on the left is for a friend who has a 60th birthday in early December.

Thanks for looking.

PS I am still being good and not stitching.

Good to hear you are not stitching! (And when did anyone ever say that on this forum  ?) Fortunately making up ornaments and cards (and playing with stash) is almost as good as the Real Thing :-)

Glad to hear, I had a frown on my face as I saw that you posted some stitching but it was soon released when I saw your gorgeous little owl. She is adorable!
The birthday card is fun and glitzy, perfect for a special birthday.
All of them, special cards! :D

HURRAY :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: I did about 90 - 110 stitches on the cat motif this morning so his coat is now finished and I am doing his lower body. Then my eye felt rather warm - in spite of a cool "breeze" so I quit to do some knitting for a while. Hopefully a bit longer at it tomorrow. :tizzy:
