Cottage Garden & geese on 30/6

Post by kingfisher68(2) »

latest project. Have done this post on PB 3 times so far & it has gone wrong so will have to do these pictures in reverse order over to separate posts. Taken me an hour :tantrum: :tantrum:

This is how much I have done of cottage garden & geese. This is the back garden of the middle cottage in Pleasant Row. As it is a virtual Cross Stitchers meeting place no one will have any phobias of birds or spiders etc

Image

Next photo will be of chart on separate post added.

Great start on a lovely design!

(Sticking with Photobucket for now because there's just too much there already and I don't want to have to learn yet another photo-sharing website :-( )

I keep reading the title of this thread as "Cottage Garden and Cheese" perhaps because of cottage cheese? I much prefer the geese version to look at though :-)

  You made me laugh Mabel & Wendy! Thanks for all comments. Our kitchen doesn't get any sun so I wanted something bright & cheerful on the wall. It will brighten up dull days in winter :D

Thanks for telling me about Flickr Nicola. Will look into that. Can understand you not wanting to change Mabel as you have so many more things to show people than I do.

It's a lovely design. I was having major issues with PB yesterday, too. It seems to be working fine at the moment.

I love the geese! That will be quite cheerful on the wall. Can't wait to see your progress!

I too am fed up with Photobucket and will be looking into Flickr. Life's too short for that kind of headache. :ratherbe: It's the main reason I haven't posted any updates recently.

Thank you all. I am doing OK with stitching this, it was 3 times I had tried to post pics on PB so amended original post. It could have been interpreted as though I had started this design 3 times. Got so bogged down with PB my mind wasn't thinking straight when I finally got a picture on. Had done words so many times it did get frustrating. I remember a few years ago on another site I used tinypic. Will look into that& Flickr.

Have got up to greenery on the roof now. Will start that tonight then when the roof greenery is done will go down the sides to start adding the colourful flowers :)

Thank you. Only did a few stitches last night as a couple of programmes on TV which I like & not ones I could eavesdrop on. Needed to see the programmes properly.
