Golly, doesn't the backstitch make a difference -- and it was wonderful to begin with. Lucky person getting this for Christmas!

Last night finished stitching and edged this Easter towel. On Monday it is going as a birthday present. It was the 11 th towel stitched by me of this pattern over the last 10 years or so. If you see a Kievite with this towel on his/her Easter basket, you may be sure the person is my friend, as this design is extremely rare here.Image

What a lovely gift! And to stitch the piece so many times, too. I can just see the hemstitch peeking out of the photo, which also looks lovely. Finishing a piece is almost as challenging as the original stitching, I think sometimes. A beautiful hem is a thing of beauty.

They are so sweet! Are they characters from a series of stories or something like that?

I have 6 charts of this girl from aa magazine which was published in 2005 or 2006. I remember having doubts whether to keep them or not as I normally dont stitch "cuties". But having stitched the first one, I knew I would stitch them all and turn into an afghan or quilt for some kid.

Cant find out the original pictures from which the charts were made. Maybe some cartoon?

The little girls are lovely and, as always, beautifully stitched.
All the details on your Venice project are impressive. I love the shadings and colours
