What a frustrating situation, but I'm so glad to see this had a happy ending. Cheers to Mabel for saving the day! I love how helpful the stitchers on this board are to one another. Can't wait to see more progress now that you have the right color :D

Finally have an update/ Flower finished , just one leaf left and the boarder. Looking forward to framing the pair.

And I used PostImage, so much easier than flickr. Will stick with this and get rid of PB

Mauveme, it says the picture was removed :thinks: :thinks: did you try to move it to a different folder? In that case I think you need to change the link to the new location.

This is exquisite and takes me right back to the garden behind the house I grew up in. My grandmother planted Iris bulbs that grew beautifully every year until the summer my mother died, 27 years later. I just love this!!!

Beside the Clematis on my living room wall. I have two 11" sq frames and they both are 10"sq. Couldn't have worked out better.

:whoop: It's finished, the boarder is fiddly but well worth the affect. Now to frame them both.

The effect of the border is just right, in its own geometric way it beautifully echoes the colours in the curvaceous flower!

:applesauce: Beautiful finish! They look lovely and the border is gorgeous, despite the issues with changing colours so often.

Was hoping to have them framed yesterday but the mounting boards were too small. So will have to order larger ones. But at least that gives me a chance to order more floss that I need for my Christmas stitching, which is next . (Going to order another 209 too see what
colour I get--that's the one the wonderful Mabel sent me )

What a beautiful finish! The border finishes it perfectly! You must be so chuffed with it :D
I wonder which frame will you choose? :thinks:

The size dimensions of the two are 10" Square. I just happened to have two frames that are 12" square. They are a blond wood and if I don't like the look I will paint them, probably black.
