That's really pretty. You should contact the kit manufacturer, they should be able to send more of the blue for you.

I did not think about that! . Thank you . :D
I just bought another skein. I will remember to do that if it happens again. If the blue is slightly different, it won't matter too much as it is for a tiny bit of the border.

I will add the date of our wedding at the bottom of the sampler instead of the middle flower and improvise a bit at each side of it. :thinks:

I now have finished the ribbon and added the date of our wedding, although it was not part of the design.
I now have to stitch the border and add lots of dark blue beads inside the little silver "crosses".
Could you please tell me if I need a special needle for the beads?

:applesauce: :applesauce: Beautiful!!! I don't do much (hardly any) beading, avoiding it even when it is called for, so I can't be of much help.
I think that needing a special needle depends on the size of the bead. I'm sure our "beading experts" will have lots of suggestions.

You are coming along really well with this one Helene and it is gorgeous and beautifully stitched. As for needles for beading, sometimes they are needed if the centre is very small. Try out a few on size 26 needles to see if they 'slide' over the eye of the needle before heading off to get a packet of the beading needles. I use my fine long quilting needles most of the time. :)

How delicate this looks & so nicely worked. Well done. I have long thin beading needles but Sally has made good suggestions & she's been x stitching longer than me :) Looked forward to seeing this again as you add the final touches. :applesauce: :applesauce:

So lovely with the little bit of sparkle!

I find a 28 needle works with most standard seed beads. If you ever think of working with beads more, try and find short beading needles or "bead embroidery" needles - they are much easier to manoeuvre than the long beading needles which are meant more for bead-weaving etc. where you have lots of beads on your needle.
