I started my first HAED on January 15th. It's Curl Up with a Good Book:

This is where I am as of today:

I'm stitching it on 25 count Lugana, 1x1.

:applesauce: A great start Debby and how lovely to be doing 1 over 1 too - it is going to be an awesome masterpiece. Pulling up the (virtual) bench to watch it grow.

You've made a nice start of this piece. I have so many Spanglers in my stash at the moment. I was going to work on one once I finished my current piece, but hubby has made a request for a different piece to go by his train set. We'll see what happens. :D

Going to be a fun one to do. Pleased I'm not the only one to cross country when using a good few colours!

Richard

I was just not loving my stitches on the 25 count and didn't want to end up hating the whole thing, so I restarted it on 22 count, still 1x1, full cross, and I'm so SO much happier with it. This is where I was as of a couple days ago:

So pleased that you are now enjoying stitching this lovely one and you have made grand progress in a short time. Well Done Debby for scrapping the other count and swapping to what is more comfortable for you. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Great choice I love Spanglers dragons, I'm glad you switched fabric before you'd done too much!
Fantastic restart :applesauce:

:applesauce: :applesauce: I am so glad you have decided to restart this now, rather than trying to stick with your first fabric choice! Now you will enjoy it much more and will be able to make much better progress on it! Great restart!!
