Ha! Yeah, it does get a bit much. It is really a pain when I am almost done with the page and realize that I had missed a stitch or two of a particular color when I was working with it a few days earlier. So, I have to pull the bobbin back out of the floss bin, hope I already have a strand started, cut the lengths and put together the blend if not, make the stitch(es), then put everything back. No wonder the mat of floss at the back is so thick, with all of my anchoring lengths running underneath throughout.

Did a few more pages. I will be taking a break to work on Christmas gifts, so the next update won’t be until late winter, most likely. Hope you like it!

After a year and a third off, I'm baaaaack!

I returned to working on this just before Christmas of last year, and have done a few more pages since then. I just finished off the latest page at lunchtime today, and finally took a picture to mark my progress. The fabric for the next page has the center stitch I started off the project with in it, so I am almost halfway through this thing!!!!

Here's where I am right now:

The sucessful combination of the decorative Jacobean style border with such real-like inner part of the design makes it unusual and oh so beautiful! One already cannot take one's eyes off all the wonderful detail. A great update. :applesauce: Happy stitching!
