Your needle must have been smoking! I am sure you will tame that garden thing before you know it.

Sorry you had to re-start the walled garden, but it'll be worth it. Looking good already.

Thanks everyone. :)

Restarting wasn't as frustrating as I thought it would be actually, I'd hidden it in the bottom of a box and ignored it for a few months so the annoyance had worn off! Also I just started again on a new piece of fabric so no :anotherfrog: required; that would have been most unenjoyable.

Lorna - yep quite a bit of confetti in places in Tree of Life, less than my other WIPs though. The border is the worst bit.

I like the Round in Circles, but those Chatelaine's...especially on dark fabrics...are breathtaking. I haven't done one yet myself, but it's definitely on my stitching bucket list.

I look forward to more updates.

Glad you've restarted the chatelaine, it is beautiful with so many colours. Also like the round ones, they are so delicate :applesauce: :applesauce:

Between you and Vanessa I feel as though I'm slacking.....these are gorgeous. I just want to stare at the Tree of life. It's colours are so rich.

On a side note, I was never taught the parking method, and it looks so complicated to me. I would have all those threads knotted and mangled.

Oh goodness I'm nowhere near as fast as Vanessa! I had quite a bit of time off in March. Stitching is good procrastination too; there will be less in April...

I find parking works for some projects and not for others - didn't use it for the Pointers last year. There can be a lot of threads but as long as you've parked in the right place it's all good! There's a good explanation on the Scarlet Quince website that I and others on here have found useful.

The colour on your Tree of Life is amazing - and your stitching is so precise.

How do you keep track of what all the colours are?

I have discovered (from reading this board) I am a cross-country stitcher. Who knew?
