Sorry to see her go, but there's no shame in being a one-at-a-time stitcher. I'd probably get more done if I didn't try to do five or six at a time.

I was reluctant to give this up & kept plodding on but in the end when I picked it up in the evening I didn't really want to carry on with it which sounds double Dutch. (Sorry Mabel, don't know if there is an equivalent Dutch phrase about the English) It was then I decided I was being silly as it is only a hobby, nothing major was going to happen if I did bin it. :lol:

It is totally understandable that you would work on one project at a time. I have started working on only one cross stitch project at a time. Even with my larger projects, over time I unconsciously memorize the symbols and their respective threads to the point where I rarely look at the key. When I used to switch between projects, it would really mess with this process and I was always looking at the key.

I look forward to seeing this one come out again when you can focus on it. :D
