Beautiful design, nice to have two completely different projects on the go too. Looking forward to watching both progress this year!

Thank you all for your kind words. Kinda miss the cottages but this is so colourful. Am up to the leaves of flower on her shoulder now. More colours coming in - 2 greens & several blues. Lots of finishing touches when all stitching done but it will be worth it. Dimension projects are always great when finished.

Several years ago I did the other geisha in this set & it turned out really pretty with delicate colours. I made it as a gift but was tempted to keep it. It did reach the person I made it for though.

I have an Anchor Maiai geisha kit which is larger & also pretty with pastel colours. That is stitched on mint green Aida & some areas are not actually worked so may not take as long as I think it would. Forgot I had it until I was looking through my kits a few weeks ago! Must start that one in the not too distant future, probably beginning of next year if I stick to the order I want to tackle projects this year.

Nice start on this one too! It has such different colors from the cottages, you'll be able to switch back and forth if you ever get tired of certain colors for a bit. Looking forward to seeing your progress on this one too.

Thats a very nice design and will look lovely when its finished and framed as in the picture on the packaging.
