Beauty and the beast

Got this today for Christmas. Loved the simplicity but yet how it tells the whole story. It's a Bothy Threads kids. It's using 3 strands of black over 1. The only other colours in it is metallic silver for the arch on top of the castle. And a metallic red for the heart and rose.

They have a whole range of scenes like this. I chose this one because beauty and the beast is my all time gave Disney film.

I love Bothy Threads. Their cut thru series is also amazing. I've done a couple of these. I love their dictionary series too, but I'm yet to do any of those.

Stunning update!!! Looking forward to seeing more of this when you get back to it. I'm interested in hearing how the switch back to an HAED with all its colors and confetti feels after working on this one!

Bothy Threads is possibly my favorite kit company (along with Derwentwater Designs). I usually don't buy kits, but theirs are great. The fabric and the fibers are high quality, as are their charts. I have a few in my stash and I recently finished the Dictionary of Technology.

What a lovely design with the silhouette prince inside the beast - and the fabric is gorgeous!
