That is a fantastic update. I know I've mentioned it before, but I love the colors of this piece. And now, you know what the length of the piece is finally going to look like. I'll look forward to seeing more updates.

Thank You All for your lovely comments. Not a lot of stitching in recent days - very busy with household things before the family come home from holiday. :(

Re: Angel of the Morning by L&L Update 2/5/17 obstacles/

Last week, whilst DD & SIL were o/seas for a short break my lovely GD came to stay. I had forgotten how bossy/determined to do her own thing she was and although I had to bite my tongue several times from frustration with her, it was good to have someone else around sometimes.

I did get a bit of stitching done mid week (see update 25/4) but the last few days before family came home was devoted to bringing washing up to date, as well as housework etc. I did pick up Angel on Saturday for a while, but got totally 'lost' amongst the blacks and gave it up for some knitting/crochet.
A study of the chart showed me that if I went up to the top of the 'tear-drop' shape which is next door and did 1 or 2 colours (both blends :tantrum: ) I could then end up where I got into trouble last week so that is what I started late this morning. I can't even count to 2 which is what one of the blends is, just long lengths of 2 symbols with the occasional skip 1 or 2 etc.

So now Angel is away again for an undecided number of days. As I am itching to stitch I have sorted out a few smalls to play with and see how that goes. When finished I will show some of them in the "Mini Projects" thread. You will definitely see Angel again soon but I need to take a break and find my sanity somewhere.

I think it is very understandable! Will be looking for the smaller projects while waiting for Angel's return.

I agree with Carole. Angel can come back when she's ready to behave.

Well this week she is behaving so far and I can see the end of the tunnel with this biggest 'loop' thank the Lord. Stitching then frogging then restitching only to find the original was very close to be right and didn't need all the frogging I did :tantrum:

A great stitching day Tuesday this week completed a colour and today (after grocery shopping) I was able to start filling in the gaps. Phew.
Tomorrow from about 9am I should be able to be out on the veranda stitching - she says "hopefully" and complete some more filling in.

So folks after a long hiatus - again - I hope to have a picture up Monday or Wednesday next week. :whoop:

Hopefully here is my update. - will check it before going further.

Image

It has taken about 35 min to get it onto PB but I was determined.

So the big loop is done and the 939 blue/black around its edge and I have started another blob of 939 at the bottom. There is a 3rd blob to go in at the base of the next 'loop' too but it will have to wait given my problems with counting and eyesight.

Thanks for looking.
