Sally, This is coming along so beautifully. Sorry you had some frogging to do. You are making such good progress on her despite the frogging. I am looking forward to more updates and pictures.

Hurray I finally finished the bottom bits of the problem area now to figure out where to start back up further

The sort of square box near the bottom is where that side of the cloak finishes.

Not really an update as such although you can see the start of the next loop down where I have found my way to knowing where I am stitching using the right shades.

It was WORLD KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY and whilst I didn't know of any place close by holding a get together I was out on the balcony 'in puclic' taking the occasional break from stitching with my crochet scarf and the start of my Aran jumper. Due to wanting it finished asap I am doing the back in stocking stitch

:)Image

Whilst I was out there the agents selling the empty house next door had an open day - well more like 45 min with several cars and people in and out so it was sort of out in public.

Lovely update. I didn't get a chance to do any knitting in public yesterday. Crochet in the living room until late, doesn't count. I love the colours in your scarf! :D

I definitely think knitting outside while there is an open house going on next door qualifies as knitting in public. I love all of these new "holidays" that seem to be popping up thanks to the internet. Every day is something new to celebrate. I continue to love your angel as she stitches up.

Autumn colors for the scarf are so pretty and the pink is will make a beautiful jumper! And I agree that on the balcony in full view of open house visitors is definitely "in public"

Well sorry no pictures today, I don't feel like hassling with PB today, it would spoil my excitement.

Take a look at the last update - not the one with knitting etc. - ok on the far left is the last loop shape needing to be doing. underneath the U shape down to where the stitches are "out one" - that is all but done, mostly 939 unfortunately but it is done. the bottom of it is where the last loop shape finishes !!!!!! However I need to remind myself that 8/10ths of the bottom is in 939 but the end is in sight.
When that is done I will finish off the robe on the left hand side.
Then comes the fancy b/s on the beautiful sleeves and hundreds of beads on the bodice. BUT THE END IS IN SIGHT NOW. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: AND ATTAINABLE. :mexicanwave:

You hit the nail on the head Carole. It seeing that the next bit completes the gown which has got me so excited and it means it could be finished much sooner than I was beginning to think.
