Debby That would be a lovely one to watch in progress - sure hope you can start it soon.

I am rather excited, I have joined up all across the front on the dress now. Not many rows done and I want to do more but alas my sore head and neck say "no no no" :tantrum: so I guess I had better behave myself - at least until I see my doctor mid week.

Sneaking in the 'odd stitch here and there' Tut Tut! You must take care of your neck, Sally!

Still the Angel is looking really good and will be there when you are back to full health again!

You shouldn't be sneaking stitches (I'm sure I would try too, though  ) and should be behaving (which is really hard to do for me too), but mid week will be soon. Tell the doctor you are having withdrawal symptoms and need some stitchy time to deal with those

and I think she would understand too Carole However I am planning on a morning stitching out on the balcony this morning. It is very warm, very humid and any wind is coming from the north and is warm but an air movement which helps. As my rooms face south said breeze is no use unless I head out front so I am off there soon. Computer is dead slow this morning so no pics at the end of the session unless things improve.

Got just over half way, the outer purple on the right hand side is the halfway line. Lots of using blended blues - which doesn't really show up but it is there - I know it. Might have to take a day or so rest now as I have pushed the limits a bit but just had to get over that line.

Image

My lovely windy cool work station on the front balcony with my untidy table. Tuppy is 'asleep' on the chair by the railing - far too hot to supervise so he found a place to get the cooling breeze without getting too ruffled. It was late afternoon and still 35c ( 95 f) out in the burning sun.

Thanks for looking.

She gets more beautiful each time I see her. You are doing a fabulous job.

Look after yourself and don't do too much till you're fully recovered. :D

:applesauce: :applesauce: She looks more and more beautiful each time you post an update! But, please be careful to not overdo it, much as you might want to. Taking care of yourself is most important.

I can't believe you called that an untidy work table! I manage to mess up the dining room table  . And looks like Tuppy has the right idea on those very hot days!

She's beautiful!!! Don't overdo it, though. She's going nowhere. :-)

And I agree with Carole - that is not untidy. You should see my mess.

Love your latest update. The blended threads really do provide a nice depth to the picture.

I can't believe you think that is not tidy. My husband would be ecstatic if my project table looked that tidy. And I would love to have a nice place like that to stitch outside.

Well now I have finally picked up Angel again and did a few short rows a couple of days ago. Today I am going to try and finish the little outlined area on the far right.

Slowly slowly I am getting back into the swing of things. Just wish I had some more energy though.

Can't wait to see your updates! I think you are doing amazingly well considering what happened! I think it takes a lot of energy to heal so go slow and pretty soon I'm sure you'll be back to your not so old self

Thanks Carole. I agree about it "taking lots of energy to heal" I would much rather just sit and read but life must go on so I stir myself from time to time to do something constructive.

Here is an update for you all. Not as much as I had hoped to have done this week but hey it is more filled in than it was. The long loop is more 'no brainer' filling in of the very dark purple and beyond the end of the loop is the last 80 rows to the finish. Once the filling in is done then it is full steam ahead for the gown with it's many blues and then more robe on the other side.

Hurray Tuppy has jumped down and I can see the screen again - he is no help some days.

Thanks for looking.
