I finally found out what SAL meant. I am finally making some headway on this project. I don't think she will be finished by 2016, but definitely 2017. This project has a lot of urban colors.

There are so many expressions and slang and idioms that are part of any hobby and cross stitching is no different. I didn't know any of these before I joined the forum since I was pretty much an isolated stitcher for my first 20+years of stitching. Always feel free to ask, but if you want a quick answer one of my favorite resources is our Forum Glossary. Lots of information there. I still check it, especially when I want to make sure that I'm using the right phrase if I'm not sure about something.
