Anyone else doing Woodland Faerie? Updated progress

Post by JenniferT »

I'm going to JoAnn's today to get the rest of my supplies. I've had most of the floss for over 10 years. I'm sure some of it belonged to the Castle that was lost in one of my moves.

Marking my spot for later!

If it's the one I'm thinking of, yes! Only I'm doing the HAED version... It's on the forum somewhere, I think. :)

I'm not stitching her either, but we have had several members stitch her and I have always enjoyed watching this one progress. Looking forward to as many updates as you want to post!

Ajay, you're right: that's the one I'm doing, although HAED called it Christmas Fairy. Guess it has lots of names, which is appropriate, given the subject matter. :)

This may seem weird...but i do not have the patience to "grid". Never have, i just get on with it. The one time i worked with gridding it messed me up, so i went....nope, and just count and highlight

Gosh, not surprised your eyes could do with a break - but it looks very good!

:applesauce: :applesauce: The border is looking beautiful but certainly can understand that it takes a lot of focusing with so much detail. Have you thought about stitching a smaller project or a less detailed design as a periodic break for your eyes? Sometimes that can help make a large project easier to stitch.
