Thanks everyone, I really am enjoying stitching this even though it is my first large project. Not as large as many on here but larger than my previous ones.
The paths leading up to & between the cottages look white in places but those are done in pale beige half stitch which doesn't show up on pictures. The white bits on the road & bottom right are blank, even on the bottom line of extreme right where it looks like I've left a few stitches out.

Latest pic after 5 weeks since you last saw it. Maybe another 4 or 5 weeks to finish it off. Decided not to add beads, will use normal thread to fill in the roses - probably try it with 3 strands first of all to see how it looks as that will make them stand out. If I don't like that, will just do normal 2 strand cross stitching .
Edit: Am unable to change date on main topic sp it still says 12th March!

Would you do French knots to fill the roses?
When finished, do you know where you will display it? I love it, it is so lovely and peaceful.
Not long to go!
