:whoop:
Well done you.
I hope there was more than one person entering, though! :P

I have never seen a fair where stitching prizes are even thought about, here. Possibly all part of the 'no one can fail' culture - its corollary being 'no one can win'.

Regards

Richard.

I know there were other entrants, but I was judged in a seperate catagory for my age group at the time vs the adults. I don't honeslty know if there were other entrants for my age group. I think there were though. I hope so. I would feel dumb if there weren't. They certainly critiqued my work though, and pointed out the areas that needed improvement. I'm planning on entering next year in the County fair and seeing how my work does when being compaired with other experianced adults. Autumn Evening..... Thats the goal. :)

WOW Congratulations on your winnings and it is not surprising as your stitching is so very neat and even. Well Done. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

Love your wee ornament - isn't it great to have something small and quick to do when you are not feeling up to your current WIP. It looks lovely. :tizzy: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

By the look of it, Autumn Evening will stand scrutiny next to anything I've ever seen. Hope (and would expect) you do well with it.

Richard.

:applesauce: :applesauce: What fun to have entered and won those ribbons! Good luck this year! I used to think about entering some of my projects, but never have. I do love seeing the crafts that are entered and a few times have recognized the designs that stitchers enter. I agree with Richard that your Autumn Evening is a real winner!

Stitching update. The Silver Needle sent me the threads my kit was missing, so I was able to finish the last 2 Acorns. Image Acorn 3

Neat acorn. The lakeside one is great, have seen it for sale but did not realise how lovely it would look when stitched.

Just a small update. Started my first HEAD Phantom of the Opera 25ct over 2. It's also my first time starting in the corner of a design rather then the middle, and the first time trying the parking method, which I am loving for this type of design.

This week is UFO week and I am working (mostly) on The ABC's of Firefighting. Will post pictures in a week, and then get back to Autumn Evening. Image

I love those Acorns!! They made me smile as I've just had the g'children here for a short holiday and they decided to watch ALL of the Ice Age Films! and seeing Scrat with his Acorn makes me giggle!

Nearly done with the Autumn evening then? So impressive!! :applesauce:

Thanks all, yes almost done with Autumn evening, but couldn't wait to start Phantom...

Haha the acorns made me think of Scrat too!!! He would be so disapointed to find out they were just fabric and thread and not real....
