HAED Little Dreamers Tree -Aimee Stewart 10/1/2016

Post by rcperryls »

I started this about 6 weeks ago (after Debby - fccs - was so kind as to send me the scroll frames). Nearly completed the first page with some on the second page, but not much. So much confetti, but I love it and am stitching from my iPad which I have been surprised to find is easier than I thought it would be, even for a cross county stitcher. I am tent stitching it on 28ct Lugana. The dimensions are 150 x 999. Probably not the largest in terms of total numbers that I have going, but definitely the longest I have ever worked on.

This is what it should look like if I ever finish it:

A larger photo shows more detail of the top third of the design:

and this is how far I have gotten.

I'm pretty sure that this is going to be one of my focus designs. It's really fun to stitch!

Thanks for looking!

What a great start, such a very pretty design, love it :applesauce: :applesauce: I have been wondering (& waiting) for this to come up, hoped you would start it sooner rather than later. Glad you enjoy stitching it as it will be a delightful addition to your home when completed.

Love your little guard cat too :)

Hope to see this stitch along again soon

Pretty design! I can relate with you on confetti stitches. As long as we are enjoying what we stitch, we will have a beautiful piece of art to hang.

I wish ye well on it. A good start has been made, hope the guard cat keeps frogs away.

All the best,

Richard.

What a pretty design and I love the house in the tree - just right for me but I do need a chair lift to get to it I suppose - which of course would spoil the look.

You have made a great start and dear Miss Laverne is enjoying her rest whilst you enjoy your stitching. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Love the design and love what you've done so far.

I was tempted by this design on the website but have resisted so far. :D

Your guard cat is looking chilled in the piccie. :D

You've made a great start - I love the design. I don't think I could tackle anything like that so I'll stitch it vicariously through you. I'm glad the scroll frames are working out. As for your dreaming (and dreamy) helper - is she just a bit spoiled with the blankie so she has something soft to lay on? I'm not judging - Jackson is also pretty spoiled.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I will be getting back to this one soon!

Understatement. Blankies in baskets around the house and towels on extra wide window ledges (built by my DH so that two kitties could sit or sleep on the ledge,) basket on top of the microwave so she can look out the kitchen window and see the neighbors, private screened in catio (also built by DH. I do not have a screened in patio). I am a very well trained servant.

I'm another who has been tempted by this. Though I've banned myself from buying more patterns for the moment as I have other patterns and I have been stitching other non-cross stitch projects...
