Colour 775 finished!
It's that light "watery" blue on the right side, not very obvious unless you know what to look for.

Looking good. With doing such a large area at a time with each colour, you must feel that progress isn't too fast, but looking at it overall, you must be getting close to half way now. Congratulations,

Interesting observation.
Later I will count how many stitches I've done and how many I've got left.
I think I'm maybe 1/4 done but I don't know for sure.

I've started a new colour called "wedgewood" and I thought it was going to be some sort of brown for the tree or the sand, instead it's yet another shade of blue.
English is not my first language so I'm a bit confused. It is colour 3760 on the DMC.
---
Edit:
I've figured it out, I googled it. It's named after the Wedgwood family who used this colour on their China pottery.

Learned something new!

I have just counted them, there are just over 50,000 stitches and I've done over 22,000 so you are right, I'm almost half done, not one quarter as I thought!
This is very encouraging!

You're making great progress on this beautiful design. I've done a piece one color at a time...I might try it sometime.

:applesauce: :applesauce: beautiful progress!! I haven't done a large project one color at a time, but have done a full page of an HAED chart one color at a time and it was different and fun. I might try it again.

Please help me, all the pictures have gone and when I try to log in to photobucket it directs me to some advertising page!
What other photo hosting website can I use? Or is there a way I can share them from Facebook?
Thanks

I and millions of others have run into the same problem as you, Photobucket want to soak you for cash to provide a service they have provided for free up until now. Not too happy about it, so I have voted with my feet and found an alternative.

If you follow the instructions in this post: http://www.crossstitchforum.com/viewtop ... 15#p673115 you should be able to store and show an image on this forum. You will not be able to share it on any other forum (I think) as it doesn't end up with an image extension on the file. It's one way of doing it that works, and there are others, but it does ensure that as long as the CSF is working, your images will be visible in threads on it.
I have once succeeded on getting a Facebook image to appear elsewhere, but it was a bit convoluted & I can't remember how I did it.

Regards,

Richard.
