Wrendale Designs 'A Waddle and a Quack' *FINISHED*

Post by Nicola Main »

I've started doing this design from my World of Cross Stitching magazine (issue 244) as I'm a great fan of Hannah Dale and her Wrendale Designs. Check out her website ;) She has also released 4 new cross stitch kits in association with Bothy Threads which I will have to buy at some point! I'm stitching it on Charles Craft 14 count lite oatmeal aida to add to the rustic look. Only doing little bits here and there when I get the time but slowly does it :)

Now that's a great Duck! I dare not look in case I'm tempted. but then just a wee peek wouldn't hurt.....

Help! She has a Puffin :tizzy: not In cross stitch but a greetings card I've looked at Bothy threads also and the Giraffe is just......

:applesauce: :applesauce: that is going to be one great project to stitch! You have already made a good start too!

Wendy, have you got the Puffin yet? I'm sure there aren't a lot of Puffin designs around so you'd probably grab it while you can. That is just my objective opinion with no intention of encouraging you.

That is one adorable duck. I may have to check into purchasing that magazine. We have ducks and they are so much fun.

It looks very realistic for a smallish design :)

I've been popping on here to check things for a while but haven't posted or, indeed, done any cross stitch for months! I rectified that this morning but continuing with my Mallard. Managed to get most of the face done and a bit of backstitch. Determined to finish this whether it takes weeks or months!
