Oh dear that sounds horrendous. What a nightmare the experience in Spain was for you all. Now wonder you couldn't settle to stitching for a while.

The picture is really taking shape now with all the new colours & new things appearing. Well done :applesauce: :whoop:

thank you all for your kind comments. The robbery has certainly left us all scarred, unfortunately it seems to be the new way thieves can get into your car without you realising anything has happened.

Thank you all again, another update will be posted soon. xx.

My latest update of the Astronomer, I just love the different colours in it and how it comes to life after a few different colours are stitched.

I am seeing very randomly by colour, but loving it.

Probably yes, provided it's one I think I can complete, do you know what it is yet ?

Well that's the summer stitching challenge done, had to do 10 squares in chequer board (with feathering)! Love the chequer board style but didn't enjoy the feathering, too confusing for me. Anyway, pleased how it turned out.

Good for you completing the summer challenge in 2 weeks! But because of photobuckets new policy of charging to link photos, yours haven't come through. It's very inconsistent right now. I have photos which still appear and others that have been removed. I know it is aggravating, but we have found some other alternatives that members have been using. I find the easiest one to use is PostImage. Mabel discovered it and you will probably see it when viewing other's posts. I think some are using Flickr. I hope you find something that works for you so that we can see your beautiful updates.

:applesauce: :applesauce: I've been trying to figure out how this challenge worked. What did you think of it? Was it hard to not keep going with a thread or to finish off a color? Looking forward to more updates and watching this great design grow!

the challenge itself was quite hard for me, the worst bit was the feathering, kept miscounting, so ended up doing block by block, which was a little easier.

I do like the chequer board way of stitching as it gives you a glimpse of more of the design.

Thankfully there is plenty of time for everyone to complete this challenge.

Hmmm what bits to do next.
