Re: Sina's stitches FINISH of Dimensions Toy Shoppe

Post by sina28 »

Thank you! :whoop:

So I had a bad day and started something new (because what else should be done :D)

This is my progress on a pattern by Viktoriya Ivchenko called кружечки тепла - which translates to something like mugs of warmth I think.
I also added a photo from Viktoriya's page to show you what the finished piece will look like someday - basically, it's me! :D
So far, I'm loving the progress, stitching on 32ct dark brown linen by Zweigart with DMC colours. What do you think?

I also tried postimage.org for the first time, and I am finding it to be very easy to use!

What do I think?
Well, it will look great and a good start. Working on brown must be difficult, but it will be good when finished.

All the best with it.

What an unusual design and how brave of you to do it on brown linen but it is going to be fabulous when it is finished I am sure.

You certainly had made a good start with it which have some lovely colours and interesting shapes. :)

My Wednesday update. :D I didn't have a lot of time to stitch but made some progress nonetheless. (Dark brown stitches on dark brown linen are the worst! :tizzy: )

Thank you Carole! The dark colours are so difficult to do, but I think the end result will be beautiful.

Also Ich have SUCH good news. I ordered a StitchSmart floor stand and it came today. That means I can now stitch two-handed and hopefully I won't be in that much pain anymore.

It almost looks like an abstract piece at the moment, with all those lovely swirly colourful shapes!
