I see them now and they are beautiful. Look good enough to eat!

:applesauce: :applesauce: The mugs are so colourful & attractive, very nicely stitched too. Well done on such a great finish

 The cherries. When I was young Cherry Ripe was a popular theme & I have always loved the cherry red. Look forward to seeing more :applesauce:

 those designs!! I have a whole magazine full of flowers from the same designer. The patterns appeared in a now discontinued French magazine, but they put all the flowers in one in 2009 and I found it in the local supermarket.
I'm also doing (very slowly) Robins which Debbie sent me.

Yes Wendy unfortunately that magazine got discontinued and is now VERY hard to find and at exorbitantly high prices.
But some of the studies can be bought directly at the Brodeuses Parisiennes' website, here the one I'm stitching right now:

I added some backstitching and as I had to move my frame made another photo.

I also love those designs by Veronique Enginger. I was fortunate to have 3 bird charts sent to me by Debby and I'm doing the Robins.

What I do find annoying is that they are only supplied as half kits. i.e chart and fabric but no threads. Therefore I do find them a bit pricey as kits. I'm not too keen on the colour charts, I prefer black& white. The symbols get a bit lost on the colour background, but when they are done they do have loads of detail...just need a good light to see them.

That magazine I have has 14 charts in and cost me €6.10, but I have seen it on ebay at €45!!
I'm tempted to do the Irises to go with the Poppies (Pavot) I did.

I stitched them in shades of red rather than the pink and red.

I am nearing a finish now!
I think I will put the finished piece in this thread and then open a new one for 2018 as this one is getting quite large.
