Thank You all for your lovely comments. I am almost finished getting everything ready for the post box but it is far too humid to head there today me thinks. :)

2 1/2 months later I have got Angel out of her wrappings and slowly working out where I was at when I stopped on 1st October (pg 23)

Sorry no pictures, only done about 30 stitches, most filling in gaps of 2 or 3 different shadings. Once I am ready to post a new update it will be in its own thread until I am finished.

Sooooo the good news is I have restarted -again but oh so slowly due to 1 cataract cloudy eye but it is stitching on here at last.

I'm glad to hear that your Angel is back and that you are able to do some stitching on her. I hope that you will be able to have your cataract surgery soon so that you can see better. Until then, take your time and enjoy her as much as you can!

I'm glad the angel is back and I'm looking forward to seeing her.

One of my friends just had cataract surgery (both eyes, a few weeks apart) and is now kicking herself for not doing it long ago.

I am hoping the surgery is soon too and I have heard the same comments from so many people who have had the surgery that it is going to be heaven to see clearly again. In the meantime I am happy to be back working on Angel a little bit each day and then finding something less vision taxing.

Here is the latest update for you after a 2-3 hours stitching each day this week. It is frustrating not to go for longer but that only results in headaches/eye pain so I am learning patience - sort of.

Now I am going to create a new thread just for Angel as she is not even a 1/4 done yet and whilst the dress is runs of one colour and purple robe is blocks of colour and should go faster, it will still be most of this year before she is done. Thankfully I don't think there are any special family events requiring special pieces stitched :x: anyway.

Thanks for looking.

It's a shame when you can't stitch as much as you would like, but you're still making splendid progress on her! :applesauce: :applesauce:
