A bit late as I did most of this last week, but I did want to post a pic to show what I've done on the goldwork watering can - I've couched the four scrolls of "water", using three different types of thread. Next is to add more of those little coloured flowers and spangles!

The wiggly one is one of my favourites too

, it's called rococco.

Sarah Homfray's design is really clever, it gives the opportunity to use a lot of different threads and techniques in one piece -- she's a very good teacher!

Sometimes it's difficult to say when a project is finished - the goldwork watering can came with a design on the fabric, but Sarah, the tutor, was very clear about it that we could add swirls, bits and bobs to our heart's delight, and needn't use her model as gospel. However, I've decided that I've added all I want to add, and so here it is:

And framed in a frame I had lying around - just the right size and the narrow gold band in it picks up the goldwork nicely:
