Hélène's Fit Kit - UPDATE : 15/06/18

Post by poppy »

I decided to start his little project , as well as my Angel of the Morning. The later demands full concentration and will take some time.
Fit Kit is on 14 Count Aida, quite small and makes me smile. I got it for my birthday at the beginning of the month.
I might start it, watching the Royal Wedding tomorrow :D

Oh he is cute Héléne, I look forward to seeing you stitching him.

I have found that taking breaks from larger projects and having a couple of smaller projects helps me keep going with the larger projects, says she who has projects for going out, projects upstairs for when I can't sleep and easier projects too, although the Wrendales are pretty easy.

Thank you for your kind words. :D

I started stitching him, watching the Royal Wedding and then yesterday watching the Great Manchester Run ( appropriate! :D )
The original chart is lovely and clear. The fabric is 14 count Aida, so a very easy project.
This is my first update :

This is the result of an afternoon stitching in the garden yesterday. I never do that normally and I realized that I do not need a magnifying glass when stitching outside! It was lovely, stitching in the warm sunshine.
Thanks for looking :D

Fabulous update and as usual such lovely neat and even stitches, although he looks far too energetic in this heat

Absolutely the best stitching light is the outside light.
