Suspended sequins, a great effect but looks so fiddly, you must have such a steady hand. Gorgeous designs you are so creative :applesauce:

Inspired by fireworks, yes. Old & New is a literal translation of Oud & Nieuw, our word for New Year's Eve & Day.

Its companion piece will have to wait a bit as I've got a deadline for another project, and I've been doing some designing for the wooden pendant which I really want to try out!

A little floral piece that was requested, including Pueblo chain stitch (the green curves):

I didn't realise that there were so many variations of chain stitch!

Another 'pretty' from Mabel! :applesauce:

I've been having a play with the wooden pendant - here's the first one, with a ginger cat. When I've finished the other two designs I'll put them on the website as freebies, but if you can't wait to stitch a ginger cat just PM me :-)

That is a fun little kitty piece. You're so creative to be using a wooden pendant.

Thanks all :-) Originally he had no whiskers but a lady at my embroidery group felt he should have so I added them. Here's the link to the chart for anyone who'd like to use it.
