Hi everyone.

Thanks to all the help from Amanda I thought I would post my Chatelaine. I am really enjoying it now but this week if it wasnt for Amanda I would have put it away in the cupboard with frustration. I don't know why but my head would not work anything out maybe I was trying too hard :whoop: so here is what I have done so far.
I have a very very long way to go!!!!!!

Just getting caught up on this now, but it looks lovely so far! I too am working on a Chat at the moment (though it's completely different, Convent's Herbal Garden) and know how frustrating it can be when you can't figure out the instructions. Some of the lovely folks here pointed me to the Chatelaine forum: http://chatelainedesigns.yuku.com/

There are threads there for all of the designs. I think this is the one that pertains to you - http://chatelainedesigns.yuku.com/forum ... CbsqhbgW18

A lot of the questions you have may have been answered there already. Good luck! It's definitely a ton of work, but you can't deny how pretty they are when they're finished!

Hi everyone.

I am plodding along with the Butterfly Lace and really enjoying it although I have had a few challenges with it but this one is a learning curve as it is the first one I have done. I still do not like the Edmar floss and would like advise if anyone has any or even an alternative to the IR151. :?
Here is my progress so far.

:whoop: :whoop: That is so beautiful and your stitching is really great. Love that pinky colour showing up in the border. What unusual colours in the butterfly too. A really fabulous update :whoop:

Beautiful new butterfly. You are doing so well. This is the one Chatelaine design I want to do too, but the list of threads is just sooooo long and expensive...
