Wow! I knew it was going to be a large piece, but I had no idea how large. You are doing a fantastic job. I look forward to each update and am glad to know there will be many more updates in the future. :)

Vanessa,

I'm not surprised it feels as if it'll never get done. It a huge project, and way, way beyond the life span of the rest of us normal stitchers - 845,340 stitches is VAST on anyone's scale. It's only your amazing speed that makes it possible to finish in a life-time.
It is the size I imagined. More of a mediaeval tapestry size than a normal picture. You can do it, if anyone can.

Regards

Richard.

WOW, WOW, WOW, the size of this is absolutely staggering. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: Amazing you are doing this wonderful design with so many different colours & small pieces to stitch at a time.

It deserves to be shown in an art gallery or somewhere when you finally complete t his. It will be simply stunning when completed & people won't believe you stitched it all yourself. An gigantuous task to undertake stitching. :mexicanwave: :mexicanwave: :mexicanwave:

Squirrel wrote:That is HUGE definitely and is already looking awesome Vanessa. Will it eventually be a wall hanging rather than a framed picture?
I'm not really sure what I will do with it when it's done. It feels like I will never get there at the moment :)
You can do it Vanessa if anyone can. It really is amazing.

Please forgive me if I don't use any superlatives this time. I've run out.

It's really rather good. Your progress is interesting.

No, can't so it any more. You are simply phenomenal, Vanessa. I Don't know how you do it.
