Here is another new HAED start for me, Mini Watching it Fly by Zindy Nielsen :
This time stitched in DMCs not HDFs and using PTB instead of Kreinik, 2 over 1 tent stitch on 28ct white evenweave. Here is page 1, not much to see yet other than a few strands of hair, but quite a sparkly page though the picture doesn't show it well:
Time for another new start........well I have to make up for lost time !

Congrats on finishing page 1! Looks beautiful. The sparklies show up very nicely when the photo is enlarged. I have one at least one if not more of her designs in my stash. Yours makes me think I might want to move it up a bit in my "which do I start next" list.

I am doing the larger version of this and I am 1/2 way done with page 1. What is the PTB that you refer to in lieu of Krenik. I am NOT a fan of Krenik and there is SOOOOO much of it. It is hard working so many white threads on white fabric.

PTB = Rainbow Gallery's Petite Treasure Braid, PB10 Pearl,is the equivalent to 032 Kreinik. A lot of HAED stitchers use this instead of Kreinik, all comes down to personal preference in the end. I don't mind stitching with either - but PTB is cheaper than Kreinik here in the UK and I use it in a lot of other projects so always seem to have a supply to hand! I agree with the white on white being a pain! I forgot that the last Zindy black and white chart I did was on cream fabric which made a lot of difference!
