kiwirach's stitching **31/03/14

Post by kiwirach »

this is my first attempt at 'show and tell'!.
this is a small finish for a swap i'm in on another forum, where we have to send our swap partner bits and pieces related to their interests.

so i have made this - its the first cross stitch finish i've done in about 20yrs!. and for a small piece it caused alot of grief!. i had to undo it 3 times and there is still one mistake, which i decided i could live with and unless you really know the pattern you wouldnt realise!!.

Image

it's a Lizzie Kate jingles flip it thingie!

please me kind on a born again newbie!!.

Hi Rach :applesauce: what a cutie that is. Love the reindeer who looks quite snooty. what a neat idea to make it into a bag for your gift giving. Well Done.

:stars: You did a fantastic job on this adorable design! I absolutely adore L*K designs but have yet to stitch one myself. Someday! Sorry about all the grief it caused but it was sure worth it in the end

That is so cute! And nicely stitched!! I look at the Lizzie & Kate designs a lot but so far my willpower has held...not sure for how long as they have such a fun variety.

I brought the pattern online from a Uk store. It's by Lizzie Kate, and it's prt of the jingles series. It's American though, so should be easy to find I'm sure :)

That's a fun one and it finished well. Nice work on your part. Be careful around that tree so you don't break off your picture hook. ;)

every tuesday i photograph my progress with the Little House Neighbourhood, so i thought i would share one pic here as well as on my blog.

i started this on 6th Aug, and for the first two weeks struggled with the count size so didnt do alot each time!. then i got glasses! they sure have helped!!.
but then i have to put it aside for a week to work on the xmas deccie in the opening post.
since last week i've been able to make good headway with this and this is where i'm at as of lunch time today.

i love those sheep!!.
