Thank you, Mabel.
It is interesting, that you say so, everybody had warned me that it would be sooo boring to stitch so many bags of the same design, but it wasn't. I started as early as October, then did some other things meanwhile, like Xmas cards, the pillow and other little projects. Only in the past few weeks have I decided not to start anything until I finish this project (of course, the cards for the winners were an exeption :D ). But when I knew that I have only so much to do, what made it easy was that I always said to myself: I am doing this for Gergő, this for Balázs, this for Péter etc - so somehow each one was personal.
Also, I enjoy that I can stitch the patten now almost without a chart, and always watch TV while stitching. House, Midsomer Murders or HP on DVD. So the whole thing is positive for me.

About Flickr - I tried to post pictures from Flickr but probably made a mistake, so I set up a Photobucket album as well, and use that for posting - it is very simple.

I take part in a teachers' program experimenting with web2 , how it could be incorporated in teaching etc., so I don't mind using different sites that allow you to share files, pictures etc. It helps.

I like the Michael Powell freebie -- his designs are strangely attractive (crooked lines not usually being my thing :-)) and a small one would be nice to do... it's just that there's so much backstitch  and I don't really like backstitch even though I appreciate its effect.

Well, Michael Powell is one of my favourites, but this is the only one I have done so far. The plan, actually, is to stitch 4 or 5 of his freebies on one piece of Aida, and put them in one frame. You know the type that is divided into smaller parts.

When (if) I have a lot of money, I will buy one of his bigger pictures. But that won't be in the near future.

So, the pillow is ready.

Actually, not completely. It was such a disappointment. I bought the material for the base of the pillow, and I wanted to sew it all together this weekend. But first I washed it, and its colour runs. I tried fixing it with vinegar, but it didn't help. So I decided to buy a new piece of material, rather than have the stitching be spoiled at the first washing. But the "picture" is ready, and I put it on top of a pillow and the material for the photo.

What a shame about the fabric, Agi, but the stitching is beautiful! I love the contrast of that one patch of blue for the pond among all those rosy shades.
