mini progress update!
all I have left is the brown background!
all the "hanging down" flowers, the pot and the "fallen" flowers are done.
started on the darker shade of beige..i should be done w/ the background hopefully before next weekend...stitching 1-2 hrs a day.

it's 18ct white aida..it looks like canvas i think because i used a scanner for the picture

It's looking great, I am always fascinated to see the different working methods we all have, mine tend to end up with tendrils of colour coming out from the middle.
When I was at the hospital the other day I saw a cross stitch on the wall of one of the corridors, it was very similar to yours, looked fantastic

i plan on mounting it on that mounting board that is puffy on one side..and backing it w/ felt..glue cording around it and as a hanger and give it to my mom for mother's day..a bouquet that never dies! and maybe print a poem on pretty paper to glue onto the felt....not sure but i think i may go for that
