They are both wonderful. What a great frame and mat for the garden gate. Your aunt will cherish the blanket.

Lovely work - I particularly like the Portail Anglais. I'm sure your supervisor was thrilled with it.

I wanted to give everyone an update of the project that I'm being paid for to do. If you remember..that was one of my first questions on this forum. She found me, and here is my progress. About halfway done. She needs it by April. I started it on Jan 1st, so it is the first start of the year and probably will be the first finish of the year. What a way to start the year!! I'm really loving it.

Thanks everyone for all the comments.

This is a project I started right after Christmas for myself. It is my first blackwork project and it was a freebie listed on one of our sites. I just kinda added red. I'm going to be hanging it in my bathroom. Bathroom is themed Red/Black Modern Asian. Well anyways, I'm almost done with it...and I think blackwork is a good change from cross stitch.

Hi everyone...sorry I haven't been on much. Been busy at work from coming back with two weeks worth of work that I missed. We took my son to Disney World and also went to Universal. We had fun!! So anyways, I thought I might let all of you know that I've added some small finishes in my blog (blogspot). I also have a myspace if anyone wants to be my friend. :rose:

Good to see you back. I forget, sometimes, that there is a life out there! (This is my time of year to be glued to the 'puter. :x ) Sounds like you have had a grand time. Hooray!
