I like your new project Katrina and I am sure you will get around to finishing the deer one too.
I know just what you mean about symbols being similar and usually side by side on the chart. Just had to frog about 14 rows but not overly long thank goodness, it is 1 stitch short somewhere and can't find it so frogged it.

Hope you can get in some good stitching time on your projects soon.

Thought I would post a wee update on Woodland Winter too. The picture has gone bit strange - think the light was too bright when I took it. Gives an impression though.

I am also going to make a start on this one soon which is called Pleasures of Winter (also by Dimensions)

Unfortunately there were some threads missing from this one when I opened it so am waiting to see if they will send more before I start stitching it.

I love your /Woodland Winter. I didn't notice anything strange, but sometimes a picture doesn't quite capture the actual stitching/colors etc. I think it is really good and love your next project too. Hopefully you will get all the threads soon.

Two more deer starting to appear now. Unfortunately have run out of one of the threads for blending and having received no reply by email (other than the standard - thank you somebody will contact you shortly computer generated reply) to my request for the missing threads for the other kit I am not keen to contact Dimensions again to ask for this one. Think I am going to buy the DMC equivalent and see how much different it is. Might unpick what I have done on the deer so far with that thread and redo using the DMC. Hopefully next update will give the deer a face - that doesn't use any that particular thread fortunately

I love what you have done so far and hope that Dimensions gets back to you. I think that is one reason that I have stayed away from kits for the most part. Seems like years back I had bad luck with the threads and ended up using DMC for parts of it. If you can get a close match, maybe you won't have to undo what you have already stitched. It is looking so good.
