Thank you muchly. Figured I need to get a wiggle on with it before my girls get too old to want an alphabet pic on their wall. This can't be a 15 yr old UFO as I've had previously, (that one is finished, but not framed) x

A great idea to get some of your UFO's into the WIP pile and I bet they are enjoying being in the light again. You are making good progress with them. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

My poor LRR has been so rejected lately, when I have knitted so that my needles smoke. Oh well, a little bit more of knitting and I think then I can throw myself in the arms of my stitching project. It's about time to stitch that, and one other project that will be late too. Oh well, but this is life. Sometimes knitting takes me so that stitching projects simply have no room.

This is not any UFO yet, but....I think I have to stitch yet another "my condolences" - present. It's for the former wife of a man who died. The woman happens to be the MIL of the younger woman who lost her FIL. So the MIL and the DIL will get separate presents. I want them to know I don't just brush their grief aside. This is hard time for them.
I admit, I met the MIL last week for the first time and I got her all emotional, when I told her I knew what had happened to her husband and that I am sorry. I am also sorry for getting her all emotional, and that's another reason for a picture. I can't show you a picture yet, but once I start it I will show you. It's the darker version of the lilac picture you have already seen here.
And when it comes to LRR (Lonely Red Rose), I stitched it a bit today. But the progress is so minor you barely notice it. I think I'd better stitch it a little bit more and then try to scan it so that you can see it.

Well, it's time to show to you too, that one project's journey has reached one pit stop. That is the LRR I've told you about. Image

Yes, you are seeing right. It's a FO now. I thank you all for your support while I've stitched this, as well as those anonymous football people who will never find out they helped through the work they did. You see, when I stitch I just listen to those football games. If they score, then I look at the TV - screen for a moment to see, who score and what the point situation is, but then I return to my work again.
But now I wonder, if the swan canvas could be the next item on my list. It has been neglected long enough. It should be hanging on the wall of the new owners already, but it has been delayed. I think it's my time to grab it next and stitch the missing stitches. And there are a few missing stitches, let me tell you that. It may take a while before the swan canvas is ready for framing.
