Wow! It has been a long time since I have posted here! I need to get back to working on my UFOs so hopefully I can see some progress. I will be working on Disney, " Past, Present, and Forever" design. I need to finish it for my son.

I hope this is not in the wrong thread. Mods can remove this if needed. But I dare to say this aloud. LK is done! On my part, that is. I put the last stitch in a moment ago. Now I can grab my knitting needles for a while, so that a knitting project will get the next part, before I grab the next stitching project and let the needle fly again.

OK, I know, I know. I promised to knit something. I did it. I knitted an arm of a bear. Now it's this project's turn. This is next on my list. As I told earlier, it's "I'm sorry for your loss" kind of gift for a friend, who lives far away and who lost her husband last winter.Image

Yep, I'd better be back in too. I have several UFOs and not just cross stitch! Every New Year I make the same resolution - finish what's already started.
Cross stitch UFOS - Bothy Thread Alphabet and Shoe Tree (poss Dimensions not sure). Would also love to finish a massive Rowandean embroidery that's sitting gathering dust!

I hope you will stay a while and show us your progress on your UFO's! They all sound like fun. I just took a "peek" at the Rowandean embroidery and they look lovely. Have you made a lot of progress on yours?

Hello! And thank you. I actually did some of the alphabet last night. I'm quite pleased as I'd lost my cross stitch bug. The Rowandean embroidery grew quickly when I worked on it regularly, then I got distracted. I also ran out of a particular colour thread. My Mum has the same embroidery done, framed and hanging on the wall!

The LK and the Lilac have found their new homes. Or at least the Lilac one has found its' new home. The new owner was almost in tears, when she called me. I told her the meaning of the picture was to tell her how deeply sorry I am for her loss. After the phone I wrote her a letter in which I said the same thing. She got the point and loved the picture, be it I had to stitch it for such a sad reason.
