Hope your back pain is improving Lori. I know from personal experience how 'yucky' back pain can make you feel, so I hope the doc was able to help.

My back is feeling a lot better. But my father had a heart attack last week and is barely hanging onto life. He's 81. this is his first heart attack, but he's had several strokes. Everything is on hold for a while. Thanks for all your support.

Big ((((HUGS!)))) Lori! Will be thinking of you. We lost my father-in-law to a sudden massive heart attack last year, and he was only 64.

Hope your back is better soon too!

Prayers for you, your Dad and all of the family. This is such a hard thing to go through. I spent 5 years dreading the phone call. Now I still miss him but the best memories make it passable.

Take care and God Bless!!!

Father news

Post by crossstitchpro »

My father died last night. I'll be out of town for about 3 weeks to help my mother and brother. Also my Son-in-law is having back surgery and my daughter is going to need help. When it rains it pours....so glad that God is there to hold our family together....

update

Hello All,
Thanks so much for all your support. It means a lot.
We buried my father on thursday. (one of the hardest days of my life....) All 6 of us kids were there. And we reconnected with family we haven't seen in years. In some ways it was good to have the whole family together, but the occation was very sad.

My sister-in-law and I even made up and actually had a friendly talk. (we haven't talked in about 10 years) It was good to "bury the hatchet" with her.

My son-in-law's surgery went well and he's recovery nicely. We won't know for sure if the damage to his spinal cord will heal completely or not for several months. But at least the damage won't be worse.

I'm exhausted but fine.

Thanks again for your kindness and prayers.

It is good that you could all be there for the funeral it is a sad time but good things sometimes come out in the end. Just remember that your dad will never truely be gone. He lives in each of you and the memory and love goes on and on. I had to deal with your same situation just 3 short years ago. I still find times I miss him but he is always with us.

Still sending prayers that your news of your son-in-law will come out with the best of news. We are here if you need us.
