I hope you are all checking carefully ..... don't forget to send me a pm if you have all 10.

Day 8 picks are 13 and 17

13. Pillow/bobbin lace

From Wikipedia

Bobbin lace is a lace textile made by braiding and twisting lengths of thread, which are wound on bobbins to manage them. As the work progresses, the weaving is held in place with pins set in a lace pillow, the placement of the pins usually determined by a pattern or pricking pinned on the pillow.
Bobbin lace is also known as pillow lace, because it was worked on a pillow, and bone lace, because early bobbins were made of bone] or ivory.
Bobbin lace is one of the two major categories of handmade laces, the other being needlelace derived from earlier cutwork and reticella.

17. Smocking

From Wikipedia

Smocking is an embroidery technique used to gather fabric so that it can stretch. Before elastic, smocking was commonly used in cuffs, bodices, and necklines in garments where buttons were undesirable. Smocking developed in England and has been practised since the Middle Ages and is unusual among embroidery methods in that it was often worn by laborers. Other major embroidery styles are purely decorative and represented status symbols. Smocking was practical for garments to be both form fitting and flexible, hence its name derives from smock — a farmer's work shirt. Smocking was used most extensively in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Eight for me now. I'm really enjoying the websites - eye candy for the stitchery enthusiast!

Sorry I have been so hit or miss. We experienced severe thunderstorms last week, loss of power and flooding at my workplace. I worked the weekend and we are still cleaning up. Exhausted, but there is an end in sight now.

Got both of these so 9/10 too. I have done both bobbin lace (Beds) and smocking some years ago. Loved bobbin lace but it became hard to get the very fine crochet cotton to work with so I gave up. Still have my bobbins though so who knows. :D

Three out of the last four so I'm up to 7. And love love love the needle lace. I need more hands so that I can learn all the beautiful techniques!

Good luck to those of you close to Bingo. I expect we will get a winner soon!

Day 9 picks are 1 and 19

1. Amigurumi

From Wikipedia
Amigurumi (lit. crocheted or knitted stuffed toy) is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, usually cute stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll. Amigurumi are typically animals, but can include artistic renderings or inanimate objects endowed with anthropomorphic features as is typical in Japanese culture.
While amigurumi have been popular in Japan for several decades, amigurumi first started appealing to the masses in other countries, especially in the West, in 2003. By 2006, amigurumi were reported to be some of the most popular items on Etsy, an online craft marketplace, where they typically sold for $10 to $100. Since then popularity has continued to increase

19. Tapestry

From Wikipedia

Tapestry is a form of textile art, traditionally woven on a vertical loom. Tapestries are mostly found in high quality museums. Tapestry is weft-faced weaving, in which all the warp threads are hidden in the completed work, unlike cloth weaving where both the warp and the weft threads may be visible. In tapestry weaving, weft yarns are typically discontinuous; the artisan interlaces each coloured weft back and forth in its own small pattern area. It is a plain weft-faced weave having weft threads of different colours worked over portions of the warp to form the design.
Most weavers use a natural warp thread, such as linen or cotton. The weft threads are usually wool or cotton, but may include silk, gold, silver, or other alternatives.

Glad everyone enjoyed it. I must go back and have another look at the links myself, particularly the macramé and tatting ones.

Tyledres has chosen some of my Heritage Crafts charts and they will be winging their way to her when I can get to a post office.
