It's been awhile since we've had a Bingo game, and I'm willing to host one if enough of you are interested. I haven't come up with a theme yet because I wanted to see if the interest is there. Does anyone want to play?

I've been thinking about it too. I am more than willing to play if you host this one and we get enough people. I'm not sure how many enough is, but our newer members might be interested. I think how it works is in the competition section. And of course, you don't have to be a new member to participate.

its a shame that 2 bingos in a row the winner failed to start the next one, I hope this doesnt become a trend

Sorry not this time unless I can more quickly learn not only this little gadget but also whatever my main machine has when I get it back.

I can't think of a better reason to start this again than getting Jo back more often!

We miss you too! but certainly understand. We have lots of new members and I hope that some of them will join in too. It's easy and it's fun!

Finally we're getting more players. So far we have

Come on, stitchy peeps! It's fun and easy and free to play. If you win, you get a prize (yay!) and you get to run the next Bingo game. I haven't picked a theme yet, but will soon. So, who else wants to play with us? Add your name to the list and let's see if we can get enough players to make this a fun, rollicking game of Bingo.

For newer members, I've copy and pasted the "rules" below just to keep this all in one thread.

Basically the one who wins the previous bingo, hosts the next, i.e. selects subject, words, timing, everything, AND provides a prize, generally out of their own stash to a value of US Dollars 10, more if you like.

Procedure:

Host lists say 30 words
Participant selects 10 of the words and sends private message to host with his/her list.
Host issues 2 to 3 words a day
Participant checks every day and crosses of his/her list

When you have all 10, send a private message to host. First one to do so wins.
Host checks list and confirms winner
Winner sends address to host via private message
Prize posted

Winner then becomes new Host Master for next game

Yes, you're in. I'll leave the sign-ups open until tomorrow at midnight, Mountain time. The theme and choices will be posted Tuesday.

Signups are open until midnight tonight (Mountain Time) - but probably later because I don't plan on being up at midnight to check. I'll put up the list of numbers tomorrow, but I will tell you now the theme is My Bookshelf.

The prize will be a gift certificate to the online store of the winner's choice (as long as I can buy a gift certificate from said store) - prize value is $15 US, and maybe even a surprise from my stash. (Why, yes, I AM trying to entice more of you to play. )
