Embroidery Stitches Bingo

Post by mags »

Well, here we go with the ‘Embroidery Stitches Bingo’. We might just learn something here. All of the stitches below can be seen on Sharon b’s Dictionary of Stitches for Hand Embroidery and Needlework,

http://inaminuteago.com/stitchindex.html

Choose your 10 and pm me your list by Friday 26th new deadline Saturday 27th and I will start with the first two on Sunday 28th October. Will try and do it early evening UK time, similar to Connie on the last one. DH will be picking out of the hat (not that he knows yet). Winner to be the first to get 10 and the first to pm me. Winner will host the next bingo round.

Good Luck everyone !

Isn't that interesting I was thinking if I won the game then some stitching terms would make a good game.

:( I shall be missing out on this one as we are going away soon :) :) BUT I think the Theme is a great one! :applesauce: :applesauce: I had thought of a stitching theme for my turn but it had been done by Coffee _Freak just before me so I thought that a food theme was close to our hearts too.

Good Luck to All of you who play this one! :D :D

I don't even know what most of these stitches are!

I bought a book of Samplers and small projects, and they're not even listed in it!

I'm going to have a lot of fun looking them up and finding out how to do them... So long as they're easier than the French Knot, which is still beyond my capabilities. I like Daisy stitches better... They're easier to do! :D 8)

Wow, really! That's just bad luck!

Did you let your SO pick your words too, this time?

On my end, I've got 3 so far... Not doing too badly, although I'm sure others are doing better! :)
