Very good. E. Roosevelt was one very clever woman.

Very true. I think this is something I have only learned as I've become older - and more self-confident. I now think I'm in danger of becoming Jenny Joseph's 'lady who wears purple':

But who cares? :D

 Thanks for that reminder, Rose. I saw that poem once stuck up on the ward sister's wall in my previous life as a nurse and I always meant to take a copy of it, but forgot  P'raps the age for Purple was already creeping on

Hi Wendy, I have the chart for the poem you mentioned. I stitched it last year along with "When I am an old cat"

Hi Lynne, Do you have a link for that poem? Or could you spare the chart? Original of course, designers work hard for their work and I do NOT believe in breaching copyright! :? :(

WW, here is at least one (of many) websites where you can read the whole poem. Those of us of a certain age can't wait until the time we don't have to be good examples anymore and can be our real, fun, selves instead (or perhaps, again?).

I'm with him.

Anyway, I'd rather search for stitching on the internet than do my work at the moment. Holiday mood hasn't quite worn off yet.
