I did not my son is still in Iraq and will not be home for the next 10 to 16 months. I did get 2 phone calls from him one Thursday evening and then Saturday afternoon. At least I got to talk to him.

I'm sorry to hear that. I guess in a contest between goodwill to men and Uncle Sam, there can only be one outcome. I have a young friend who is currently at home from Iraq, is being shipped to Canada and then will be off to Afghanistan. Frying pan and fire spring to mind. Consider your boy on the current 'back of my mind' list. I'm so glad you were able to speak to him.
On another note, I was given several books and the 'summer' version of this sampler http://nordicneedlecraft.com/acatalog/Samplers.html so i'm very pleased. Am trying hard not to start it Right Now!
